Hi everyone, we’re very excited to be travelling to Canavans in sunny Peckham this Friday 20th of May to bring the COMADISCO vibes to saaarf London for the very first time!
Our host is Peckham resident and very talented DJ Mytron with whom we’ll be sharing playing duties all night long.
Expect our usual mix of beautiful people, weird and wonderful records, together with south of the river’s world renowned laissez-fair attitude.
COMADISCO: sowing the seeds of love and gentrification.
See you on the dancefloor!

Seeing off the wonderful year of 2015 at The Yard in style we are bringing back our mostest favouritest guest ever, GATTO “flipping” FRITTO from Ber of Lin where he now resides.
This fried cat has made appearances at COMADISCO more than any other cats ever and whenever he had played, for whatever reasons, some magic happened. Either he’s very good at playing records or we’re very good at organising parties, we haven’t figured out yet.
As it’s also a Christmas time where families should get together and have an argument or two, Comadisco’s tormented other half, Marco will be back from the land of the Merlion to join us on this occasion. Come slap his Asian-y overworked ass.
Anyhooooo, we thank ALL of you for coming to party at The Yard in 2015. There’s been some fabulous musical moments there. This is also our last party at The Yard. Let’s make it goooood.
Fumix has recorded a brand new mix for Felfelosophy, perfect for strolling the woods with. Or maybe Sunday 8am in some ugly flat with special people. Either way we hope you all have a great week ahead!
Christmas is just around the corner. It’s nearly been one year since we settled at our beloved home, The Yard in Hackney Wick. So far we’ve had the coldest indoor rave in history, multiple speaker malfunctions & one audience member helping out at the bar etc… It’s just been amazing.
This month we have asked Jonny Rock to help us celebrate our almost-one-year anniversary there. He’s been on our want list for almost half a decade. Very happy he’s finally gracing the ones and twos at Comadisco.
Jonny is a familiar face on the London house and disco scenes. He is recognized by many for working behind the counter at Phonica Records & Blackmarket Records during the 00’s and as the dude for playing the guitar in Luke Solomon’s ‘Freaks’ project. Rock, with releases on Playhouse, Cabin Fever, Wolf + Lamb Black & Music for Freaks under his belt, skillfully joins the dots between the old school Chicago house and underground boogie disco with a dollop of marginal Turkish Psych thrown in for a good measure.
As usual the support comes from Fumix who’s just got back from Japan eating 5 meals a day and generally chilling. Expect some phat bass-y Italo and big room-y house music to match the size of his stomach.

See you on the dance floor!
Phew… Our hands have stopped shaking at last. Amazing street party and sweaty basement do at Chatsworth Road Festival on Saturday. Virtually patting on everyone’s shoulder who were involved and arigato everyone for coming with big smiles. We cannot wait for next year already!
Anywaaaaay, we’ll be back at our monthly haunt, The Yard on Saturday 26th September. We are celebrating the release of second album “Rising Son” by our friend, Toby Tobias, that’s coming out on Delusions Of Grandeur in October 2015. Yes, that’s next month for me and you.
Everyone knows Toby from his involvement in the London underground disco/house scene for years and he’s done so much on wicked labels like Rekids, International Feel and Let’s Play House. Toby’s a solid groove machine when it comes to dextrous mixing style and he even promised us to bring an 808 machine and jam while he plays records which I’m sure is pretty difficult and is gonna sound fun(ky). Here’s a little preview from the Delusions Of Grandeur Soundcloud:
The support comes from “not-so-solid-but-always-entertaining” Fumix.
As usual he promised not to go for a nap during the party so do watch out!

Seven hours of kaleidoscopic COMADISCO Summer Fête!
—-Jan Schulte aka Wolf Müller aka Bufiman—-
Touching on all things wild, panoramic, voodoo and cosmic, Jan has been cultivating his unique production styles on a various aliases for the last couple of years. Results can be found on his own Themes For Great Cities, Versatile and International Feel alike. He’s also a one of the resident DJs at much celebrated Salon Des Amateurs in Düsseldorf alongside Lena Willikens. Expect the extraordinary. Here’s a recent podcast from the man itself for your auditory pleasure:
In Flagranti has been a close friend of us for a while now and whenever you have him around for a tea it turns into a party. Perfect guest for Comadisco I’d say.
He’s a very talented music maker of all kinds. Touching on afro, dub, NW, disco, house and pop(!) and we requested him for a set of unplayable records for this night so it’s only for the open-minded. We also have a brand new exclusive mix for Comadisco, enjoy!
As always a support comes from Fumix who will try to be nice and reasonable to everyone but maybe not after midnight.
There are no pre-sale tickets for this one. It is free entry before 10pm. After that you’ll simply pay £10 at the door on your arrival.
See you all on the dancefloor!
